Security Is Not a Tier — It’s the Foundation
No matter which tier you pick, every client gets the same security. It’s included at every level. It’s never an add-on, and it’s never optional.
Threat Protection
Every computer and server is watched for attacks around the clock, and threats are stopped when they’re found
Watched Around the Clock
Real people, not just software, watch for trouble 24 hours a day and step in when something looks wrong
Patch Management
Windows, your software and your equipment get their security updates automatically
Security Awareness
Short, regular training so your staff can spot fake emails and scam phone calls
The tiers are about IT service level: how much support time, backup, planning help and network management you get. Security is the same at every level.
Why Managed IT Services Pricing Varies by Client
Managed IT isn’t a flat monthly subscription, because no two offices are alike. A five-person law firm with one server has very different needs, and very different risks, than a collision shop with 30 computers, a paint booth network and three locations.
What moves your price most is how many people and computers you have, how many servers you keep on site, how many locations we cover, and whether your industry has compliance requirements like HIPAA or FTC Safeguards. Older equipment, a mix of brands, and networks nobody wrote down also take more time to manage well, and that time shows up in the price.
The calculator below uses the same per-unit prices we use when we build real proposals for clients. If you already know what you need, you can also learn more about our managed IT services.
What drives your monthly cost
Number of users & endpoints
Each person’s computer, laptop and phone is managed and protected on its own. More people means more devices to keep secure and support.
On-premise servers
Servers need closer watching, careful updates, backups and faster response than a regular computer, because when a server stops, everyone stops.
Network infrastructure
Firewalls, switches, routers, storage boxes and wireless access points all need their settings kept, their firmware updated, and someone watching them.
Number of locations
Each office has its own network, its own equipment and its own trips for on-site work, so every location carries a base fee.
Service tier
Every tier gets the same security. Essential covers monitoring and updates, and you pay for support when you use it. Operational adds support time every month, looks after your network, checks your server backups and sits down with you twice a year to plan. Strategic adds more support time, Microsoft 365 backup, quarterly planning and our fastest response.
Infrastructure complexity
Older equipment, mixed brands and undocumented networks take longer to manage well.

Describe your environment
Choose your service tier
All three tiers include the same security: around-the-clock threat monitoring, email protection, staff training and automatic updates. What the tiers below change is the level of IT services layered on top of that foundation.
For small offices that mostly need things kept safe and up to date. We watch and update everything, and when you need help, you pay by the hour or use prepaid hours.
📍 Best for: 1-15 users, few or no servers, low IT overhead.
For growing offices that want help built in. Every month includes support time for your team, we look after your network and check your server backups, and we plan with you twice a year.
📍 Best for: 10-50 users, servers present, needs network support.
For regulated or more complex offices. More support time, stronger backup, planning and budgeting every quarter, and our fastest response.
📍 Best for: regulated industries, 15+ users, complex infrastructure.
Optional add-ons
Check anything that fits your office. It’s added to your estimate right away.
ⓘ Prepaid hours are a one-time purchase, so they aren’t in the monthly range. Maintenance visits are billed monthly over the year.
Microsoft 365 licenses
Microsoft 365 is billed on its own line, not built into a tier, so you always see exactly what it costs. Pick a plan and we’ll add it to your estimate. Keeping licenses you already have? Leave it on “Not included.”
Compliance requirements
If your business has to follow rules like HIPAA or the FTC Safeguards Rule, check the ones that apply. Any of them adds our compliance security add-on to your estimate, $22 per user per month. Help with the rules themselves, like a gap assessment or written policies, is quoted separately.

What’s Included — and What’s Billed Separately
The monthly estimate covers your managed services fee: what it costs for us to manage, watch and secure your environment every month. A few things are always billed on their own, because they depend on how much data you have and what you need, and we can’t honestly guess them ahead of time.
✓ Included in your monthly fee
• Remote monitoring and management of every enrolled device
• Network management (Operational and Strategic; an add-on on Essential)
• Backup software and scheduling
• Support time every month (Operational and Strategic)
• Planning meetings (twice a year on Operational, quarterly on Strategic)

How Coverage and Service Levels Fit Together
Around-the-clock monitoring and support availability are different from included support hours and response targets. Your selected tier defines included time, backup coverage, testing and planning; separately scoped projects and add-ons are identified in the proposal.
Use the pricing breakdown to compare service levels, and discuss the systems and workloads your business needs covered.
